Elder Adamasi was a model

Elder Adamasi was a model Christian leader. His life was an embodiment of Paul’s words in 1 Thes 4:11; he led a quiet life, attended to his own business, worked hard both professionally and in the Lord’s vineyard, and imparted all around him.

In all my years of knowing him, one thing was clear to me; he truly loved God and loved God’s people. Even as my family and I mourn his departure, we find solace in the fact that he has gone to be with God, whom he loved so dearly. We are comforted by the knowledge that good people don’t really die. They merely sleep, until the resurrection morning when we shall all be reunited.

Rest on, dear elder. May God smile upon the works of your life and grant you eternal rest. Amen

A Saint Gone To Meet His Creator

Elder Adamasi,a selfless, unassuming, dedicated and committed servant of God,who does everything committed to him with every sense of responsibility.
We happened to be in the same fellowship then and also lived in the same area.He used to carry our children and every other child in the area to the staff school then. He did it with all commitment that his vehicle became the children’s car,an experience the children never forgot.
It was the same experience in the fellowship and amongst brethren. His loyalty to God’s work and leaders was never in doubt. He loved God and his people genuinely. He was peaceful and sought peace all his lifetime. The last time I heard your voice was in Ghana when you said you were quite a distance from our conference venue and will make sure we see when next I visit which never happened till this your departure to glory.I pray the legacy you left will transcend your descendants.Rest In Peace.

Adieu Daddy

A gentle, soft spoken and loving dad he was. He exemplified meekness and humility and simplicity.

During visits to his home in Benin, I remember how soothing his fatherly words of advice were to me.

He will forever be missed! We are assured that since he passed on in Christ, he is in a far better place and in a short while we will be reunited with him in glory.

Rest in Peace Dad!

Farewell to an amazing father figure in my life

Mr Adamasi as we popularly called him was my lecturer back then in Uniben. He was a good man. He was kind to students and shared gifts(Chin Chin, Peanuts) made by his wife with his students. I really appreciate all he did for me while he was alive, the encouragement and advice I received especially with regards pursuing my doctorate. He was a lover of Christ, even though I am sad about his dismiss, I am definitely confident in Christ that he is in a better place now at the right hand side of God Himself. I pray for the mercy of God upon his soul and I pray his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God continue to rest in peace Amen 🙏.

Tribute to a Rare Gem

Elder, as we called him is the founding father of the visitation team CGMi Ugbowo.
He never waited for a crowd; he could be described as the “visitation team’ as he
single-handedly drove the team. He was always on the move for God.
We remember him for his dedication to service, his tireless and relentless commitment to God and his work, and particularly the visitation team.
You indeed left a legacy for us and we try to emulate your precedence of dedication and commitment, trusting God to send in more labourers.
Rest on our elder.

Peaceful and Calm

I was daddy’s stockbroker in Nigeria. Daddy was a calm, peaceful, and loving father. He was very considerate when interacting with people. Always considers others’ feelings. I have never seen or heard him angry with anyone. May his kind soul rest in peace in Jesus’ Name
